Palawan

Voted as the best island in the world as of 2014 then again on 2015 by a leading lifestyle and travel magazine called the Condé Nast Traveler, Palawan in all its exquisiteness will surely take one’s breath away.

Palawan Island, part of the Southern Tagalog Luzon region, is the largest one of all 7,107 islands in the Philippines. Its capital city of Puerto Princesa has been named as the country’s greenest city for outstanding exhibition of environmental excellence. All eight kilometers of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, the stunning Puerto Princesa Underground River proudly hails from the village of Sabang that is within the capital city of Palawan.

Palawan is probably the best site one could ever get to do activities such as swimming, island hopping, snorkelling, canoeing, kayaking, diving and the like, for the area has quite perfectly preserved its natural beauty. This is evident through either white or golden sand that is present throughout the island, turquoise waters, lush corals, beautiful rock formations, and an overall hearty tropical and marine environment.
